It's been a minute since I wrote anything on here..To be be honest, the reason I try not to over-do my blogging is mostly cuz-- I don't want this blog to be an outlet of my views and opinions...I don't want this blog to showcase or highlight my "self". Rather I pray God would use me and talk to me so that I can jot down some valuable insights he gives me..
I am kind of looking forward to this weekend : going to Vancouver..never been to anywhere in Canada other than Toronto..It's funny cuz I am one of those people who loves trying new things--be it food, places, physical activities--whatever..but Toronto is the only place I have been to --that I am not too fond off..I can't single out one particular reason..maybe it was the time frame..I went during Carabana ... my uncle has planted a Punjabi church there, and I have never met a Christian Punjabi ..as of yet!!..So I am psyched about meeting some :-))
other than that..still on that mission of Loving everyone..loving those who love me, who care for me, who hate me, who talk about me..whatever the case may be..
Humility is another thing that I aim for but is EXTREMELY hard for me cuz I was birthed in Pride lol..It's amazing how God told us to be humble..God's son washed his creations feet..If we think of it figuratively, coming down to that level where we are lower than those around us -- is hard for a human being.. It is impossible for us to be what God has asked us to be w/ out the Holy Spirit..Unless we spend time in his presence soaking in the word, and spending time in prayer we will never know what it is to walk in the transformative power of Christ..we will continously be trying to reach a standard that gets preached from the pulpits ..Take his word as the final say and sensitize your ear to hear him when he talks to you!!
