Just broken

I feel like a prodigal daughter in mah fathers embrace rite now !! It is hard to walk away from that love that wraps me when I cry out to him..And I realize---I just wanna LOVE...I want God to help me love others so much that when people look at me--they feel Gods love just through my smile....

God in his infinite wisdom laid on my heart how each one of us have our own DNA..No one of us are alike..we are all different..I have a calling of my own..I have my own ministry, my own calling and I need to spend time in mah fathers presence so that I completely obey him in all that he has called me to do-- so that his highest calling in my life is fulfilled..however, many times we humans have a tendency to follow tried and tested methods (follow what others that have gone before us have done) and depend on our own wisdom instead of letting God shape and form us...

I do not know how to thank you father for showering your mercy and grace on a broken pot such as me..My God saw as precious the one the world could not understand!!

Weekend!!

Sharon, wife of a prof at WSU, who works with attorneys, and who is a friend is in the board of Dayton Ballet. Myself, Sharon and one of my closest friends, Laurie are gonna have dinner @ Coco Bistro's (never been to the restaurant-- supposedly mega awesome) and head over to the Victoria theatre rocking our 1940's outfits (1940's baseball game theme)...cuz we are going to be in the performance.. How kool is that :-))

plus I most likely would be going to this workshop in Columbus tomorrow w/ my brother..I'm super psyched cuz I rarely get to do stuff w/ my brother due to our conflicting schedules..

so that will bring a beautiful weekend to close on sunday night!!

I am soo excited about the possibilities of tomorrow ..as you pro can tell, haha..

this is the thing...what is life other than what we make of it..God has given us the will and the ability to exert maximum effort to shape our lives into a beautiful fragrance..k, let me break it down with an example..

think of our body for a second..some people are lean, some people are bigger , some people are anaeroxic, some people are obese, and some people are at a healthy weight..sometimes we are genetically pre-disposed to go one way or the other..however, some people work hard and I mean really hard to achieve what they flaunt..and it's not that another person can not put effort to get maximum results but they choose not to...

same with our prayer life..some emit a fragrance that is beautiful ..everyone gravitates towards them because of the light in their life..some people are powerless and wordly and mean and agressive..some people are powerful weapons God uses to bring many to Christ..you find all sorts of saints in the body.. God has given us -in his infinite wisdom - different talents and gifts..but it is really in our courts how far we want to go in God..how much of a relationship we want with him..what kind of miracles and what kind of a life we would lead as a result of that relationship..GOD HAS SAID, IF WE HAVE THE FAITH OF A MUSTARD SEED, WE COULD TELL A MOUNTAIN TO MOVE AND THE MOUNTAIN TO MOVE...

So if you look at your pastor or youth leader or saints around the world and mutter to yourself if only God has given me that talent or gift..... pause for a sec and think of how much they have invested on their knees or their sacrifice to be at the place they are........

ARE YOU WILLING TO SACRIFICE TODAY?? ARE YOU WILLING TO FAST AND PRAY??? ARE YOU WILLING TO PUT HIM BEFORE YOUR FRIENDS, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER, CHILDREN, YOUR WEALTH, YOUR SUCCESS, YOUR FUTURE AND THE LIST GOES ON....If you are, and you spend time with him , over the course of time he will transform you into a sweet smelling fragrance...No Doubt!!!!

As you can see, my blog titles are starting to wilt under my creativity block lol.. But, do not fret!! It would be back like a mighty flood one of these days..hopefully;)

oh, goodness..finally I got my 'A Cry From Iran' DVD !!!!!! WOW Man!!! It is soo powerful!!!! yet another testimony to how Christian life in the western world has come down to twisting the word to benifit one's agenda..and we dont even realise it because it has become the culture of the church...

There are so many things that weight on my heart when it comes down to our life in the west..two of my major huge mega concerns are the enslavement to pornography and sexual immorality which ties in with the divorces that happen not outside but inside the church..


Heart Breaking!!! Satan has suceeded in slowly corrupting the church into accepting the cultures standards as the biblical standards...if you are a follower of Christ, there are very definite lines when it comes to these issues ..Pornography might seem as though it is a minor indulgence, but if you care enough to research more, you would find that it grabs you into its trap and never lets you go even if you decide to wallk away..if God does not work on you and create in you a new heart --men are visual beings that they would never forget the images that they spend hours viewing..your future, your marriage , your life itself becomes directly affected by something that is so not worth the horrible pit of death that it is.....

same thing with sexual immorality in the church, in the culture!! if you believe in a white picket fence with a husband or a wife you wanna be faithful to all your life---> the cultures way of dating several partners and then expecting to settle down with one person for life does not make a whole lot of sense.. if you are a christian, follow the biblical standard and ---WAIT, HAVE A STANDARD FOR YOUR MATE (DON'T settle for the first person who comes your way), and more importantly ---FAST AND PRAY FOR A PARTNER----and if you do that and God brings someone into your life who is special---under no circumstances, should you even concider in your mind the word 'Divorce' (unless there is abuse involved)..what God brings together, let no one or nothing seperate!!!

I THANK God for his amazing love and presence.....HE is just SOO awesome ...I don't even have anything else to say!!!!

he has told us to knock, and the door will be opened--seek, and you will find it-- ask, and you shall recieve it (mathew 7:7) If there is anything that you are struggling with, any burden you can no longer carry, any problem that is bigger than you-- Our father has PROMISED us that he will help us and carry us into victory..all you gotta do is Ask, Seek, Knock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's aright if you have been hardened by situations and life's struggles and you have no faith any more--- but somwhere deep with in you want to live a life that is different..a life that has meaning to it..he is able to transform you into the vessel that he wants you to be..no one is perfect in our own terms, but by his grace transforms us on a daily basis to be more like him in our walk of faith.. which means if your heart is hard as a rock..ask the one to give you a broken heart..to show you the truth ..

Jesus has told us to be like children..which means to trust in him and believe in him , and love others like a child would ..you don't have to be perfect but come to him like a child would to his /her parent..ask him anything, talk to him , and he will help you in your struggles.. he would grow you to be a mighty weapon, make you a vessel that shines and gleams..

All he is asking you is to take that step of asking him..

I am seeking my fathers face to know his will concerning a number of things..I feel this year is significant in many terms..every day he is revealing amd unveiling new things into my life that is the answer to many a prayer..so this is a time to be vigilant and search his face for wisdom and knowledge!!

B/w Beem if you are reading this, I think you are soooooo awesome :-)) I love God's spirit in you, the love that you carry , and your silliness :-))) You are a huge impact on many a person........and no matter what the situation, keep searching our fathers face ---even through rough times and tough times -even when those closest to you turn their back on you--cuz He promised he would never leave us nor forsake us --until the day approaches when you like St Paul could say--I have ran my race abundantly well!!

Tonight..

So I am excited for my Dad..He is going to India in 2 weeks and it's really awesome cuz he has not been back to the country in 6 yrs. I am especially excited for him cuz he gets to see my grandmother whom he has not seen for 6 years. He really deserves to do this.

**lil info on my family: My dad is a College Prof .. teaches Pharmacology, Anatomy and such..

oh, I am looking forward to meeting my Little Sister from the Little brother/Little Sister program thru United Way. I pro be meeting up with the guy next week to go thru the interview process. I am looking forward to that as well..

As usual, God's amazing..day in and day out...as you move close to him, he moves even closer to you..he is not the imagination of a finite man..instead he is the one who created me..
it always blows my mind how people say they believe in a higher being, but do not spend time or energy to find more about that being..cuz if there is a higher being-- do you think he is up in the clouds or down under the earth just chillaxing..obviously there is more to it than that..if you believe in a higher being or a God, would you not be able to communicuate w/ him. Would you not wanna find out for sure if there is such a thing as God. Just ask from your heart to reveal himself and that is all you gotta do. Speak to the one out there and he will show you the truth !!

catch up!!

So it's been a minute since I last blogged..I had to play catch up w/ a couple of things and hopefully I will get into habit of blogging daily.

first things first-- got a haircut finally --HOORAY!! :-)

Got my hair colored yesterday..going back to my roots again--auburn, chocolate brown, dark brown..I have to get used to it again as I have been exploring the lighter shades for the past 2 yrs..

K, so that aside I got this picture of mah kids in Nepal ..OMG, they are like the most adorable little people ever...I just love them ..they are so darn cute..Its funny cuz the other day my friend who just got back from Mexico from a mission trip was telling me about his little kid Oscar he adores and I was just so mesmerized by their tales of mischief..and now I get a picture of my kids who are orphans or whose parents are lepers..it's incredible kids are kids anywhere around the world..they are innocent little beings who are shaped and molded by circumstances.

I am reading this book called, 'The Penny' which is turning out to be pretty incredible..I am only on the 89th page, and hence can't speak for the whole book.. we'll see!!

K, I can't really elaborate on my thought process right now but I gotta say, God is good and he is love and he is amazing and he is always teaching me to trust when I can't see tomorrow..I just know great things are infront of me..it's so hard to see my future cuz so much is uncertain, but there is this unshakable knowledge within me that I am exactly at the place where he wants me to be .. trust in him and I promise you he will never fail you.. but you gotta give it all up ..you can't have both God and the world..there is only one way and that road is narrow..so it's up to you to choose..Choose him I say cuz he is more worth than diamonds and precious than pearls!!
